I'm Greg Ackley, and I started restoring cabinets here in southern Connecticut in 1973. During the early years, my expertise was in cabinet refinishing but in 1983 I moved into cabinet refacing and for twenty years I have been perfecting the art of remodeling existing kitchen cabinets to look and feel like custom cabinetry. To date, I have completed over 500 cabinet remodeling projects and have a host of satisfied customers.

The nature of this work is custom and each project is one-of-a-kind. There are so many choices to be made that you may feel overwhelmed. However by answering several key questions you will be surprised how easy the selection process becomes. There is usually other work being done in your kitchen in conjunction with the cabinet remodeling. Selecting a countertop material, new appliances, as well as lighting and electrical work should be decided before the "review and final selection" appointment. I will be happy to recommend people and firms that my previous customers have been satisfied using. Please feel free to use my experience to coach you regarding other aspects of your kitchen remodeling. Most of these involve surfaces that border the cabinets and should be scheduled either before or after my cabinet remodeling work.
